We provides molybdenum crucible manufactured by two processes. One is sintered crucible, the density is 9.8 ~ 10 g/cm3, by which way crucible is sintered directly after molding. The other one is forging, density for forged crucible can reach 10.2g/cm3. Small moly crucibles are machined from forged rods & ingots.
Mo-La alloy (Lanthanum oxide doped molybdenum) is also used to make high temperature crucible, Mo-La alloy crucible can tolerate higher temperature than pure moly crucible.
