1) The advantages of the existing fiber (lignin, polyester, mineral fiber) are overcome by basalt fiber short cut yarn. Is mainly reflected in the non absorbent, oil absorption rate, high temperatuer resisitace, aging resistace, good durability, no waste of asphalt, fiber itself is stable, easy to control, no reaction with asphalt, renewable utilization. 2) In addition to 0.3% to 0.4% of basalt fiber reinforced yarn, it can significantly improve the high temperature anti rutting performance of asphalt mixture (along with the increase of fiber dosage), and improve the anti water damage, anti low temperature cracking and other properties, to avoid the early damage of pavement and prolong the life of pavement. 3) Compared with the use of traditional lignin fiber, can make the performance of asphalt concrete to improve about 20-30%, which is more cost-effective.
